We asked Sonja why she thinks innovation in the area of balancing and demand side response  is important, this is what she said:

“To be able to reach the climate goals, we need to de-carbonize and to electrify and digitalize. To electrify on the large scale that we foresee is a challenging task for the electricity system and innovation and up-scaling of demand side response is one of the important tools needed to be able to secure security of supply.”
