The Role

As Head of Business Development at SnerpaPower, you will lead our business development efforts, identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for our deep-tech energy management system. Market focus will be Nordics but also include other European markets in the future.  

You will work closely with our organization to ensure effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion. You are operational with a focus on lead generation combined with a strategic approach to business development. In this role you will contribute directly to our mission of revolutionizing the power industry.

Your key responsibilities
  • Lead and initiate both identification and development of new business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Be responsible for identifying were to be present and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Write and maintain proposals, presentations, and business development reports.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with company goals.
  • Proactively gather and analyze market feedback to drive product and service improvements.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the market.

As Head of Business Development, you will report to our CEO based in Iceland. You will establish an office in Oslo, preferably in a co-working space or similar. We are currently also recruiting a Customer Success Manager.  

Is this you?

To be successful in this position you have a BS/MS in Business, Marketing, or related field with at least 7-10 years proven experience in business development or sales in the SaaS industry, preferably within energy tech. As Head of Business Development, it is important that you have a strong understanding of energy tech or related industries, with an interest in technology and innovation.

You are fluent in written and oral Norwegian and English. We expect you to have a high degree of digital usage in Microsoft Office and other relevant professional systems such as CRM systems.

As Head of Business Development, you have excellent networking, communication and negotiation skills together with a desire to work operationally with lead generation combined with strategically developing the market. Your goal is growth, which you achieve through a collaborative spirit, ability to work with cross-functional teams, driven personality and including leadership.
